Due to company expansion, KES Group have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HSEQ Executive based at our premises in Strabane. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 – 4 years experience and be NEBOSH qualified.
Job duties include:
- Prepare and manage Health & Safety arrangements for our Phase 2 Construction site.
- Monitor and implement the organisation’s HSEQ procedures.
- Ensure the organisation is compliant with HSEQ legislation and to reduce and prevent hazards, dangers, and accidents.
- Carrying out site inspections/audits with photographic evidence and documented report
- Full responsibility for departmental hazard and risk analysis.
- Ensure the health and safety of the workers but also of the workplace, environment, and general public.
- Coordinate staff training and toolbox talks.
- Monitor and report on-site accidents and incidents and report through internal procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for external bodies concerning all HSEQ matters.
- Provide support and advice on H&S Management and compliance.
- Promote a proactive H&S approach/attitude among employees and site staff.
Experience Required:
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualified.
- CSCS holder.
- Previous Construction experience is desirable.
- Direct experience of working on-site or supporting project related Health & Safety
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Commercial Awareness
