Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating conceptual architectural ideas into precise, buildable drawings and models. Your expertise will support project development from initial design through to construction documentation, ensuring all work adheres to industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your technical skills in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate must have industry experience in the detailing and design of buildings and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit. Producing concept plans and working drawings for our Energi X range.
Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaborate with architects and designers to refine design concepts into executable plans
- Prepare construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details that meet regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project progression
- Assist in project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and tracking deliverables
- Conduct site visits to review construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Maintain organized project files and records for efficient workflow and future reference
Experience
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role within the architecture or construction industry
- Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and construction processes with practical construction experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate technical drawings and detailed documentation under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Project management skills that enable smooth coordination across various project phases
