Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of products, and their commercial success, and contribute towards product strategy and vision in line with the business’s goals and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Create strategies, timelines and roadmaps for developing products.
- Plan and deliver product launches.
- Oversee the creation of product marketing material for our range of products.
- Implement and direct product launch marketing campaigns.
- Drive action throughout the business to get products to market.
- Manage product profitability and commercial success.
- Establish strategies for product pricing and positioning.
- Research and analyse market trends and feedback.
- Liaise regularly with all designers, marketing, sales and customer service to keep progress on track.
- Creating project timelines and implementation schedules
- Gather and evaluate ideas and opinions from users to work out the most valuable features to include in your product
- Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure they have the resources they need to keep the product on schedule and within budget
- Reporting to Senior Management on the product’s success and demonstrating new ideas and features.
- Practising discretion when discussing the production roll-out and maintaining confidentiality.
- Identify and approach potential distributors.
