Due to Company expansion, we are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer within our Energi Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical aspects of the design and development of LV Switchgear. Job duties include:
- Overseeing the technical design of switchgear, based on project requirements.
- Providing technical assistance to Estimators and Project Coordinators.
- Aiding in the production of standard Electrical Designs.
- Ensuring compliance with standards.
- Mentoring and training junior electrical engineers and technicians.
Skills and Experience
- A degree or HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical switchgear engineering, including design installation and commissioning.
- Hands on experience performing protection coordination studies, relay setting calculations and arc flash hazard analysis.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Work to exceptionally high standards.
- Working as part of a team.
- AutoCAD, SEE, or EPLAN experience would be advantageous.
