The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, WIP, reviewing and issuing variances, assisting with supplier and sub-contractor payments, and ensuring that project invoices are issued to clients and payments are received.
Duties
- Look after and maintain project reports.
- Collate all relevant income and expenditure for each project.
- Analyse all project expenses and provide commentary.
- Looking after project contracts to ensure the financial terms are adhered to.
- Review current processes for management accounts preparation and streamline where required.
- Ensure financial reporting across the business is accurate and issued weekly to SMT.
- Work closely with the purchasing team and Project Managers to develop processes and the understanding of financial requirements.
- Update current reports and create bespoke financial reports
Skills & Requirements
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant
- Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering preferred.
- Strong communication skills and works well within a team.
- Experience in process mapping and implementation.
- Advanced Excel would be advantageous.
