We recently dispatched two SMARTBUILD offices for our client, shipping one to Spain and the other to Belgium.
Spain Office
The Spain Office, a bespoke 14m x 4m structure, was manufactured in two parts. It was designed to split during travel and reconnect seamlessly on-site. In contrast, the Belgium Office came from our current SMART Workin’ range, the Classic 9m x 4m office building.
Timeframe
We manufactured the Spain Office in 14 weeks, while the Belgium unit took just 8 weeks. Connecting the buildings to services on site took 2 days, specialist KES Group team members travelled over to site to ensure proper set-up.
Interiors and Finishes
We duplicated the finishes across both buildings, carefully selecting interiors based on their locations. We opted for an industrial aesthetic with charcoal, concrete, and walnut elements. The black trim and concrete-effect wall panels provided a high-end, luxurious finish, while the walnut-slatted walls added texture. We included and internal glass wall with access doors in both buildings to enhance the sense of space and allow for more natural light to travel through the buildings. Luxury vinyl click flooring in colour slate completed the overall look.
Exterior Finish
For the exterior, our in-house team created cladding that mimics the ripples of water, reflecting the buildings’ proximity to bodies of water. We chose a colour palette of charcoal, black, spiced oak cladding, and silver accents.

Technology
Both projects feature cutting-edge technology, including:
- ThriiTap+: A versatile hand wash dryer that delivers soap, water, and air.
- Quooker Flex Taps: These taps provide cold, hot, and boiling water from one source, maximising countertop space in the tea stations.
- LG Smart AC Inverter: This system optimises air temperature based on indoor and outdoor conditions, improving energy efficiency.
