SMARTBUILD Offices Shipped to Spain & Belgium

We recently had the pleasure of completing two SMARTBUILD offices for our client which were shipped to Spain & Belgium.

The ‘Spain Office’ was a bespoke 14mx4m, manufactured in two parts, which would be split on travel and reconnected on site, while The ‘Belgium Office’ was selected from our current SMART Workin’ office range, the Classic 9m x 4m building.

Timeframe 

The Spain Office took around 14 weeks to manufacture whilst the Belgium unit only took 8 weeks.

Interiors and Finishes

The finishes were duplicated throughout both of these buildings. We considered the elements when selecting the interiors, plus the locations of where the buildings were going, and we decided on an industrial look consisting of charcoal, concrete and walnut. The black trim paired with concrete-effect wall panels gave both buildings a high-end, luxury finish and the walnut slatted walls gave the rooms texture. The internal glass door/wall was included in both buildings to elongate the building and allow for more natural light to fill the space. Luxury vinyl click flooring in slate finished of the look.

Exterior Finish

The exterior cladding of both buildings was manufactured in-house to mimic ripples of water – as both were to be located near bodies of water. The colour palette chosen was charcoal, black, spiced oak cladding and silver accents.

Technology Included

Various top-tier tech was included in both projects, including;

  • ThriiTap+ – the smallest and most versatile hand, wash, dryer available that delivers soap, water and air touch-free
  • Quooker Flex Taps – which provide cold, hot and boiling water from one source. Utilising counter-top space in the tea stations
  • LG Smart AC Inverter – providing the optimum air temperature based on temperature inside and outside the building, improving energy efficiency
