SmartBuild modular buildings are built in an offsite construction process. Offsite construction refers to the completion of elements of a construction project at a different location from where it will be installed. As a result, the planning, design and build of the project is conducted under controlled conditions. The project is then transported to site before installation.
Many people say that offsite construction cannot compare with the quality of an onsite traditional build. However, as buildings are constructed under controlled conditions, factors such as weather conditions that can affect the quality of a building, are completely eliminated. Therefore, investing in offsite construction results in a higher quality building that is not only relocatable but flexible.
SmartBuild Construction Process
The SmartBuild construction process consists of a consultation session with one of our leading SmartBuild consultants. Secondly, our designers will draw up a building with your exact size, style and requirements. This is then followed by our fixed fee to secure a build slot within our factory (this gets your building into the queue – first come, first serve) Next, you will agree on the internal and external finished of your Smarbuild modular building.
This will include deciding on factors such as:
- Flooring
- Windows
- Doors
- Kitchens
- Heating Systems
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Security Systems
- Bathrooms
- External finishes, wood, brick etc.
- Lighting – internal and external
- Branded signage
- Wall paint colours
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Soft Furnishings
Following on from the design process, your modular building will begin the 6-8 week construction process. Your SmartBuild will be built to the exact specification as agreed during the design process. However, as the SmartBuild building process is extremely flexible we can alter and reconfigure your building at any time. We offer regular updates on the progress of your SmartBuild, giving you peace of mind and confidence that you have invested your time and money wisely.
Finally, once your building meets our quality standard we prepare your SmartBuild for delivery. We offer a delivery and installation package to all our clients, which can include groundwork’s and foundations (at a cost). This results in a fully project managed service whereby you let our SmartBuild professionals take control of every aspect of the build.
